Privacy
Policy

This policy explains what information OpenWorld Dispatch processes when you browse this website or contact us. We operate a static informational publication and do not offer accounts, purchases, or game downloads.

Short version: this website currently uses no analytics, advertising tags, tracking pixels, user accounts, or cookies set by our pages. Like most websites, our hosting server may create standard technical logs. If you email us, we receive the information you choose to send.

1. Who we are

OpenWorld Dispatch (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is an independent informational website available at openworlddispatch.com. For privacy questions, email admin@openworlddispatch.com.

2. Information processed automatically

When you request a page, the web server and hosting infrastructure may process technical information needed to deliver and protect the service. This can include your IP address, date and time of access, requested URL, HTTP status, referring URL, browser user-agent string, and diagnostic or security events.

We use this information to operate the website, diagnose errors, prevent abuse, and maintain security. Standard access logs are intended to be retained for up to 14 days unless a longer period is necessary to investigate a specific security incident, comply with law, or protect legal rights.

3. Information you provide

If you contact us by email, we process your email address, message content, and any attachments or other details you provide. We use this information to respond, handle corrections or rights requests, maintain records of our correspondence, and prevent abuse. Please do not send passwords, payment details, or other sensitive information.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

Our pages currently do not set cookies and do not use local storage for tracking. We do not currently use Google Analytics, advertising cookies, social media pixels, or behavioral profiling tools. If this changes, we will update this policy and, where required, provide an appropriate notice or choice before enabling those technologies.

5. External websites

Our articles link to external sources, including Rockstar Games. When you follow an external link, the destination website may collect information under its own privacy policy. We do not control those websites and encourage you to review their terms and privacy notices.

6. When information may be shared

We do not sell personal information. Information may be processed by service providers that support website hosting, server security, DNS, or email delivery, subject to their respective roles and terms. We may also disclose information where reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, respond to valid legal process, protect visitors and the website, investigate abuse, or establish and defend legal claims.

7. Retention and security

We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above. Email correspondence may be retained while a request is active and afterward where necessary for records, security, or legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including encrypted HTTPS connections, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a copy of personal information. You may also have the right to complain to a relevant data protection authority. To make a request, contact admin@openworlddispatch.com. We may need to verify a request before acting on it.

9. Children

This is a general-audience informational website and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through accounts or forms. A parent or guardian who believes a child has sent us personal information may contact us to request its deletion.

10. International processing

Our hosting and email providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, appropriate safeguards should be used for cross-border transfers. By using the website, you understand that technical delivery may involve infrastructure in multiple locations.

11. Changes and contact

We may revise this policy as the website, service providers, or legal obligations change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be posted on this page. Questions and requests can be sent to admin@openworlddispatch.com.
